Hefk Cha 宣喜茶

Even though this location of Hefk Cha didn't last very long, it appeared to be very popular. I went once around 10pm and they still had a line of young adults waiting for some late-night bubble tea. This was of course before the tapioca craze blew-up out of proportion, so perhaps after that, they couldn't compete with all the new competitors. That, or maybe perhaps someone caught one of the staff members picking their nose, then continuing to work without washing his hands. Ahem. I saw you mister staffer.

Even though the 'Rikkyo' location is permanently closed now, it still appears as though that they have their 'Waseda' one, not that I've ever been to it though. It also seems like there's a shop over in Yokohama.

Yes, I'm that person who went to a bubble tea shop and got a hot beverage, so no, you can't see the pretty pearls inside.

I visited the Ikebukuro store two times, and both times I got a mellow Jasmine tea boba. I always ask for little sugar, and they certainly delivered to my asking. This shop actually offered pretty nice Chinese teas, so if you're over in Nishi-Waseda area or in Kanagawa, it might be worth giving them a shot, maybe.
