Q-pot CAFE.×SAILOR MOON

Q-pot Cafe and Sailor Moon are having their annual collaboration again this year, and it's even better than ever!

Last year I was unfortunately unable to visit the special pop-up, but this go 'round I was lucky! The interior decorations are super cute, or rather, chō kawaii, and it's definitely something you don't want to miss out on. The desserts and other treats at this shop are positively scrumptious, and they even have matching jewelry to go along with many of the sweets.

This year's Sailor Moon pop-up is from Sunday, June 30th to Sunday, August 4th, so we're already about halfway through the event. You can reserve seats online and skip the long queue and wait. For a limited time only, starting the final week of the showcase, their Tuxedo Mask Chocolate Parfait (タキシードアムールショコラパフェ) will be available to indulge in. I got the chance to try their Sailor Ribbon Macaron Parfait (セーラーリボンマカロンパフェ), and it was a berry delight to eat, so I'd definitely recommend trying the chocolate version together with it. You even get a special character coaster to go along with it~

Depending on which menu options you select, you can even keep the uniquely designed Sailor Moon glass and ceramicwares. For example, if you choose the Sailor Ribbon Macaron Parfait (セーラーリボンマカロンパフェ), you can request to keep the parfait glass.

Or if you order the Transformation Brooch Macaron Cake (変身ブローチ・クリスタルスターマカロンケーキプレート付き), you can choose either the pink or red brooch plate. (Unfortunately, it does cost more to take the wares home with you.)

Unlike last year, this time's Sailor Moon cafe now features a savory option with tea sandwiches and a demitasse of very rich soup. I recommend ordering this afternoon tea set for parties of two since it's a good way to continue enjoying sweet desserts by refreshing your palates with salty snacks. Just ask for the Sailor Afternoon Tea Set (セーラーアフタヌーンティーセット) and you'll be right on your way for a magical treat.

If you look around the first floor and continue upstairs, you can find more Sailor Moon themed items, from exquisite pieces of jewelry to fashionable articles of clothing.

I was seriously eyeballing the delicate crystal castle pendant necklace that I was wearing. I honestly didn't want to return it since it was such a fabulous piece of artwork. I absolutely loved how Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask were captured in it, dancing away in the tiny castle, and on the back, finely engraved were the words, "You're just my love." Talk about how romantic.

There's a lot more that this shop has to offer, like all of the themed seating areas, ranging from chocolate, strawberries and whipped cream, cherry blossoms, cheese, biscuits, and more! And of course you can buy the adorable pieces of jewelry that go along with these rooms too! I'm trying so hard not to spoil everything for you, so please swing by this cute little teapot of a cafe to see what other treasures are tucked away here~
