Coffee Lounge Lemon
Posting taken from my personal Instagram account @funtoo2:
Unexpectedly light and airy cheesecake. The sweetness was just perfect. I'm a big fan of very mild flavors, so there was just a hint of sugar in this tart pie. The bitterness of the raspberry-blueberry sauce complimented it so nicely~
It was a little frustrating eating this cake with such a tiny fork since each bite was just a tiny sliver of air, but I was able to enjoy the flavors for just a little longer since it took more time to eat. I should switch to a smaller fork/spoon for my normal eating so that I'll feel fuller even after eating a smaller amount.

Here's a personal note I jotted down after my second visit:
"Although this cake was kind of a struggle to eat since the orange peel wouldn't cut properly and I ended up peeling the entire slice off of the pie, I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors of this tart. Even before I chomped down for my first bite, I could already smell the fragrant Earl Grey Tea radiating from the dessert. The mellow yet pronounced pekoe and bitter yet sacchariferous citric rind blended ever so nicely~ and let's not forget about the flakey crust. My aunt, a true pie crust connoisseur, would have swooned after eating such a scrumptious tartlet."I laughed while writing this, and I'm still laughing as I reread the overembellishment of everything. But honestly, it was such a good dessert; all of their treats are really yummy.
The renewal project did this cafe wonders. I was scrolling through photos of their old interior on Tabelog, listed simply under the name of remon, and quite honestly, if I was walking down the streets of Shinjuku, I would have passed by this cafe in a heartbeat due to it's old and outdated look. Tabelog appropriately labeled the previous layout as a traditional cafe.
