Introduction

If I don't start writing something now, then I'll never begin. So without further ado of postponing this posting for like an entire year now, let me begin. My name is Jasmine, and I've been living in Tokyo since the end of August of 2017, immediately moving here after graduating college. I work for a small Japanese company that's apparently been around for a long time but nobody really knows about it, and I make like two cents a day, but hey, I'm living da real anime life here in Japan, right?? ha.

Only up until recently have I really been actively going to a variety of cafes, especially since I had a lot more free time during the summer. I'll try my best to continuously update this blog with cafe postings, but I'm extremely bad/lazy at maintaining an online presence. I hope that you'll enjoy my blog, and maybe with some suggestions and encouragement from you all, I'll become more consistent with my updates, maybe.

I do, however, actively update on a weekly/biweekly basis to my Instagram account, so please do follow me on my personal profile @funtoo2. The Instagram account I will be using for this blog is @tokyocafeguide, so of course, please do follow me there too for your weekly update for nice cafes around Tokyo~

(You can skip this paragraph, cause like, product placement??) If you'd like to take a look at some of my inactive/defunct blogs, feel free to visit jasminedesu.blogspot.com (a school blog I started as a Japanese project in highschool then later attempted to continue, yet failed miserably) and thworldismine.tumblr.com (a personal blog, mainly containing content of my Italian study abroad during my eleventh grade school year). I also have a sad Youtube account (@jasminerosetv) that I biyearly update, so if you're interested in looking at some lame videos of me cooking cakes, Italian vlogs, Japan adventures, bullet journaling, and other random footage, click the link. Also maybe worthwhile your time, there's an online shop that sells cute bullet journaling items, like masking/washi tape and stickers, that may or may not be run by me or my friend, but totally check it out at rosecolored.tictail.com. Orders take forever and a day to arrive, but like, I'm pretty sure they'll arrive in one piece? Idk. There's also an Instagram for the shop @rosecoloredtape.

Here's a gif of me drinking some heck strong matcha in a cute matcha shop in Kawagoe, Saitama (Aug '18)
Drop a comment, or not. Peps don't really write to me much anyways, so it's cool. Hope you have a guud day and you too will visit some of these cafes whilst in the Tokyo area. Feel free to tell me about some of your favorite Tokyo cafes, and I'll try to check out your suggestions too~

P.S. Majority of the time, coffee makes me sick to my stomach and feel like I'm bout to have a heart-attack, but I still like the flavor and oshare (coolness) vibes it gives off. My go-to coffee is a cafe mocha because I'm still a child at heart and love chocolate. :3
