たべものと日用品WAO (Tabemono to Nichiyouhin WAO)

The summer peach sweets we ate at Tabemono to Nichiyouhin wao were 'wow.' The fruit was super ripe and sweet, the roll cake was nice and fluffy, and the vacherin was rich and flavorful with its vanilla goodness. Would love to come back here again~ Thanks @ttcielott for taking me here~^^

As much as I love this dessert shop, I probably won't be going here too often since it's quite a treck to get out to. It takes about forty-five minutes to an hour from central Tokyo, so maybe I'll return sometime next spring for strawberry season. Their fresh peach desserts were so fantabulous this past summer, I'm sure their fresh strawberry ones will be just as good, if not better. Something to look forward to next spring~ :3

Originally we had planned on ordering their curry dish, but unfortunately, it had already sold out for the day. Because their store doesn't have to accommodate to the heavy loads of traffic that the main areas of Tokyo receive, they don't prepare as much on the daily, hence why they had run out so quickly. But...we had also gotten there around the end of lunch, just after two p.m., so it's kind of a given that they'd be out. However, we were unexpectedly surprised with how friendly the older ladies staff were since they kindly gave us some recommendations for nearby restaurants.

The inside of their shop was so cute, yet tiny...only nine seats in total for everyone, with only two tables for couples. My friend, @ttcielott, and I happened to go on a day that wasn't busy, but I'm sure this place could get quite the wait, especially being the only cute, quiet, dessert shop in the desolate area of Kanamachi.

Just as @ttcielott had mentioned, I too would have liked to have been seaten at one of the solo seats simply for the Instagram photo background. lul. Us foodstagrammers. Leave a comment if you can relate; about sitting in particular spots just so the lighting or setting is perfect for your food photo.
