essence cafe (essence 87)

Around this time last year, I took a quick sneak peek into this cafe, but I never got the chance to dine-in. So finally, after an entire year and renovation project, I get to see the true interior of this place. I'm a big fan of themed cafes, and I heard that this was a flower cafe, so of course, I've been dying to go here.

                                

 

Unfortunately for me though, the flowers in the stairway and littered downstairs aren't real, but they still liven up the place. I believe I saw some real, dried flowers hanging upside down, but those were behind the counter where the employees stand.

It appears that essence cafe is popular amongst freelancers, especially ones who seem to frequent this place enough to know one another, given that the atmosphere is nice and they offer free wifi and charging ports.

This month's special beverage was a ginger milk, which gently warms you up from within. (I ordered this autumn drink.) The tuna melt was yummy, and it was quite interesting that it came with a spoon full of honey to drizzle on top; a surprisingly good combo.
