Noriz Coffee (ノリズ コーヒー)

Luckily, or maybe not so luckily, this place is located a little off the main beaten paths of primetime Tokyo. Aways in Sakai area, nearby Musashi-Sakai Station, this tiny four-table coffee shop stands. There's nothing much actually here, just a simple rectangular box of a storeroom that has a single water closet.

Adorable decorations are speckled throughout the tiny shop, and inside the lavatory, you can find cute, floral toilet paper. The ambiance is very nice and relaxing, and the owner welcomes all with a warm, smiling face. A quote which stood out, quite literally actually, read: "You are the cream in my coffee."

Sadly, or maybe gladly, there is no wifi, so it's a great place to seriously get some work done; be it reading a small book or pounding away, gently, at your keyboard (just as I had done the latter, to complete this very blog posting).

The espresso roll cake's whip cream faintly reminded me of some name brand's convenience store accessible milk pudding. And the sliver of a slice was very light and tasty. As always, desserts like this always leave me begging for more, but that's the magic of treating yourself to something, you'll always have something to look forward to enjoying again in the future.

I'd also like to point out the fantabulous jazz music that hummed in the background. The volume and melodies were pleasant, which left me in a good mood. I didn't indeed to walk away with one, but I now have a point card to Noriz Coffee, so I guess I'll be returning here again quite soon; maybe.

Update (12/5):
You can probably pass on the pudding. The caramel tastes like Robitussin and the pudding itself doesn't particularly have an impressionable flavor. It's quite dense, similar to the texture of thick tofu. But the pudding does make for a nice photo.
