This cafe has some good food options to offer given the fact that they are a specialty coffee shop. They surprisingly have sandwiches, like hot panini (hot sand), burgers, and hot dogs. Generally, if a cafe serves sandwiches, they're usually cold. They, of course, have desserts, like the fall's typical seasonal specials of chestnut and pumpkin flavors. There are shakes, teas, and an option I just noticed and shall probably try at some point, a lemon olive oil latte?? Hmmm....sounds very intriguing.

This cafe appears to always be crowded, especially with youngsters given that there's a college nearby, so it's the perfect study spot for those Rikkyo Students. You can still manage to find a spot to sit since they have nearly one hundred seats (okay, only eighty-four, but that's still a lot, right?)

If your Japanese pronunciation isn't that good, it's okay, since many tourists are always roaming around the Ikebukuro area, so the staff are accustomed to interacting with foreigners and will understand you.

Roasted Coffee Laboratory is right at Ikebukuro Station, so no need to walk far to get here or worry about getting rained on on a rainy day. It's located inside of esola, which is inside of Ikebukuro Station.

They have an outdoor entrance next to Lumine, so if you're wandering around outside, it's over in the Niishi-Ikebukuro area. And there's plenty of sunlight that filters in during the daytime on the first floor of the cafe.
