Mafumi Coffee (眞踏珈琲店公式)
I stumbled across this tiny book cafe when I was roaming around the novel district of Jimbocho. Honestly, Mafumi Coffee is my new favorite cafe. The environment is quiet and peaceful (well, on the second floor it was at least; the people downstairs were clearly enjoying themselves a little too much, making quite the ruckus, speaking loudly and spilling glasses every. lol). They mainly focus on serving you exquisite coffee and scrumptious cake desserts, but I believe they might also offer light meals, quite possibly salads and such.
I can't remember which coffee the waitress recommended to me for someone who only drinks cafe mocha and other chocolatey beverages, but if you simply just ask for the brew that's decorated with chocolate syrup, then you'll probably end up with this cup.
This cup of coffee wasn't particularly to my liking, a tad too acidic in flavor, but if that's just the brew you're looking for, then, by all means, request this one. Also, I think this coffee was one of the ¥800 cups. I ordered the coffee and cake set, so of course, I chose their chocolate cake~ It was simply scrumptious~ :3
I would like to mention that this place has wifi. Let me repeat, they have wifi, so you can camp out here for hours if you'd like (but I feel that staying longer at any cafe for more than two hours and a half is kind of overstaying your visit type thing...? Lemme know your thoughts about that; how long is it socially acceptable to stay in a cafe, especially a small one like this?).
